Dr. Suri develops algorithms for multi-dimensional data. He applies his research to complex biological & social networks including those found in the brain. His work advances the fields of geometric computing, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Training & awards: Dr. Suri studied Electronics Engineering at IIT Roorkee and has a PhD in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins. Previously, he worked at Bellcore and was a professor at Washington University in St. Louis. He is now a professor of Computer Science at UCSB. He was elected a fellow of the IEEE, the Association for Computing Machinery, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
