Dr. Miller is a professor of Psychological & Brain Sciences and the vice director of the SAGE Center for the Study of the Mind. The Miller Memory Lab reveals how the human brain stores information as a memory and later retrieves that information. Using structural and functional neuroimaging, Dr. Miller determines how individual differences in brain connectivity and structure lead to differences in cognitive processing. Training & awards: Dr. Miller has degrees in Psychology & Neuroscience from San Francisco State and Dartmouth. He won the Achievement Award for College Scientists and is the editor of The Year in Cognitive Neuroscience. He was recently appointed a member of the Defense Science Study Group.
